Welcome to the VII. Adriatic Dance and Music Festival!
Join us for an unforgettable cultural experience set in the stunning coastal city of Senj, Croatia. From July 3rd to 6th, 2025, performers from across the globe will gather to celebrate music, dance, and folklore in this enchanting Adriatic location. Whether you’re part of a folklore ensemble, choir, modern dance troupe, or orchestra, this festival promises a vibrant stage for every art form.
About Senj
Nestled between the dramatic Velebit mountains and the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea, Senj is a city rich in history and natural beauty. Known for its medieval architecture and famed Nehaj Fortress, the town radiates charm with its stone-paved streets, traditional events, and captivating seaside. Senj offers more than picturesque scenery—its lively cultural scene includes renowned carnivals, a’cappella festivals, and dynamic summer events.

Breakfast at the hotel. Optional program (only recommendations, not arranged by the organizers) Rijeka Tour, which offers a breathtaking view of Rijeka and the Kvarner. Discover the legend of the Nazareth Tabernacle, the Chapel of Votive Gifts, and learn about the Franciscans at the famous Trsat Sanctuary. This tour includes visits to both Trsat Sanctuary and the Castle.
Afterward, enjoy a visit to Rijeka’s vibrant downtown to explore its most significant historical and cultural landmarks. The city tour includes stops at Kositoranj (the Leaning Tower), Katedrala Sv. Vida (St. Vitus’ Cathedral), Kobler’s Square, the City Tower, and Korzo (the pedestrian zone). During the walk, visitors can admire impressive Secession buildings, classicist-style palaces, and the Croatian National Theatre. A local expert guide will lead the theatre tour, highlighting the monumental works of renowned 19th-century artists such as Gustav and Ernst Klimt and Franz Matsch. Nearby, experience the bustling atmosphere of the lively marketplace with its distinct Mediterranean charm.

1. Boat Trip: Depart for Crikvenica, boarding the boat at 10:00 a.m. and sailing to Vrbnik. Explore the old town of Vrbnik, a charming seaside village perched on a cliff with stunning views of the sea, the Velebit Channel, and the Velebit Mountain on the mainland. Vrbnik is famed for its wine, especially the renowned Vrbnička Žlahtina. Return to Crikvenica around 2:00 p.m., followed by a drive to Kraljevica with a private bus.
2. Cave Biserujka and Island Tour: Visit Cave Biserujka, then drive along the scenic route through Malinska and Njivice to reach the island’s capital, the town of Krk. Enjoy a guided tour of Krk before continuing to Punat, where you’ll take a boat ride to the island of Košljun. Here, you’ll visit the Franciscan monastery and its museum, guided by an expert. In the afternoon, there is an optional trip to Baška, where a visit to the sea aquarium is possible.
Return to the hotel.
